Cafe owner accused of Covid coke deals

Dilara Sen, 25, was charged with nine offences by police investigating alleged drug supply in August 2021.Police allege Sen supplied cocaine more than three times within 30 consecutive days, as well as supplying 32 Xanax pills.She is further alleged to have possessed 28.3g of cannabis, 26 Valiums, six Xanaxes and $3350 cash alleged to be the proceeds of crime.Sen is yet to enter a plea to one count of ongoing drug supply; one count of prohibited drug supply; four counts of prohibited or restricted drug possession; one count of participating in a criminal group; one count of dealing with crime proceeds and one count of failing to comply with Covid-19 public health orders.The Dulwich Hill woman appeared in Downing Centre Local Court on May 5 where she applied to have her bail conditions varied in hopes of being able to access her cafe’s Instagram.Sen was banned from using social media, encrypted messaging apps, tablets and computers as part of her bail conditions following her 2021 arrest but her solicitor told the court Sen was hoping to use her cafe’s Instagram in order to promote her business.Following consideration Magistrate Susan Horan varied Sen’s bail to allow her to use the cafe’s Instagram for business purposes only.As part of her bail Sen is still banned from driving except to report at Blacktown police station, not to take drink or take drugs unless prescribed, and to only possess one mobile phone without any encrypted apps including WhatsApp, Wickr, Snapchat, Confide and Signal.She is also banned from entering Dulwich Hill, Chester Hill or Peakhurst.An acceptable person offered $3000 as security for Sen’s release on bail to reside with her parents in Prospect in Sydney’s west.She returns to court for charge certification on May 19.
